Our History: From Flight to Sight

HelpMeSee was founded with the mission of establishing a simulation-based surgical skills training program to teach Manual Small Incision Cataract Surgery (MSICS) to tens of thousands of cataract specialists who can, in turn, operate on the cataracts of millions around the world who are needlessly blind. HelpMeSee’s efficient, effective and safe training programs are designed to be highly scalable to address the growing shortage of cataract surgeons

The Founder of HelpMeSee, Albert Lee Ueltschi also, started FlightSafety International, an organization recognized for its advanced simulator-based flight training courses offered around the world to thousands of pilots every year.

HelpMeSee has an experienced team leading the design, development and implementation of our competency-based training programs. This team, some of who came from FlightSafety, have rich expertise in the simulation-based training domain. Team members leverage their expertise in the development of HelpMeSee training programs with researched-based principles that are proven to be highly effective.
